SPOONZ STUDIOS
A new approach to photography.
The camera, as we know it today, was first put into motion over 2,300 years ago. Chinese philosopher Mozi understood that if you pushed light through a small pinhole, it would project an inverted image. It would take two centuries for it to become a process with physical results. In the early 1800’s Nicephore Niepce discovered that if you cover paper in light-sensitive materials and expose it to the sun, it will produce a still image of that exposure.
Today, that entire process, WHICH TOOK CENTURIES TO POLISH, can be done entirely digitally using compact computers and AI processors. The modern camera is a technological spectacle.
The process that took centuries of innovation, which was extremely dangerous and time-consuming, can now be done instantly.
What makes Spoonz’s approach “New” is understanding the journey necessary for cameras to operate and function as they do today. Understanding that, as the photographer, we are not the storytellers… You are. And our job is to follow that light and push the button.
